NAHCT Announces Leadership Transition

The National Association of Hospitality Compliance Trainers (NAHCT) announces a leadership transition effective May 1, 2026.

Edward McLean, Founder and President of NAHCT, will be stepping down from his role to focus on the continued growth of his hospitality compliance training business and the development of an additional business venture. Since founding NAHCT, Edward has played a key role in establishing the organization’s mission, structure, and direction—bringing together training providers with a shared goal of improving compliance standards across the hospitality industry.

The NAHCT Board has approved Christopher Strome, CEO of Serving Alcohol Inc., to assume the role of President effective May 1, 2026.

Chris brings more than 25 years of experience in software solutions and product management, along with a strong connection to the hospitality training space. His leadership and perspective position him well to guide NAHCT as it continues to expand its initiatives and strengthen industry collaboration.

NAHCT remains committed to supporting compliance training providers and advancing responsible service through education, consistency, and shared best practices. The organization looks forward to continued growth and progress under new leadership.

NAHCT thanks Edward McLean for his leadership and foundational contributions and welcomes Christopher Strome into his new role as President.
